What are we tracking?
The Brandon Police Service (BPS) records all non-routine walkthrough patrols, which include, but not limited to: schools, special events, licensed establishments and public facilities.
How are we measuring this?
In 2020, the total number of walkthrough patrols conducted was 138. This number was significantly lower due to COVID19 restricitons.What progress are we making?
The occurrences are recorded on the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System which are compiled on a monthly basis. The information is shared with BPS members to formulate strategic initiatives.
